The Lemko Project is an independent initiative focused on the history and culture of Lemkos, an ethnographic group that inhabited the Carpathian mountain region of southeastern Poland. Our mission is to make information about Lemkos available in the English language and to raise awareness about their history and culture among English-speaking descendants and the general public.
